Lease of 10 July 1639 by which Humfrey Newton, deceased, William Doughtie of Lincolns Inn, gentleman, Thomas Doughtie, gentleman (brothers), William Boteler of Biddenham, esquire (afterwards knight), Richard Tayler of Clapham, sergeant at law, and Thomas Rolf of Milton Ernys, esquire, granted to Anne Lee of London, widow, a farmhouse in the parish of St Mary, Bedford, other lands in the fields and parishes of Bedford, Cardington and other places, for 99 years, for rent of a peppercorn
Indenture of 10 July 1639 by which Anne Lee demised the property to Humfrey Newton deceased for 98 years, 11 months, 3 weeks, 3 days, on condition that if Humfrey Newton should not pay £1,080 at a certain date, Anne would have power of re-entry
that money was not paid and Anne re-entered
Indenture of 18 February 1648 by which Anne grants her interest to Olyver Boteler
