    Conveyance between 1) The trustees of the will of William Thomas Goodman esq, that is, Ann Goodman, widow and William Dover, farmer, both of Toddington, and John Sanders, farmer of Fleet Marston, Bucks 2) Major Edward Horley, horticultural builder, of Toddington - 3 cottages at Toddington Recites - will dated 1 Aug 1803 (pro 13 May 1814) of Sarah Garlick devising her real estate to her husband Thomas Garlick, and after his death to Elizabeth Ellen Strange, her neice: 2 cottages near the pond, occ by James Muskett and Elizabeth Fox, widow - death of Sarah Garlick about 1814 - 1809 Elizabeth Ellen Strange married John Goodman, who died in her lifetime - will of 26 April 1853 of Elizabeth Ellen Goodman of Shipton Lee, Quainton, Bucks, devising her freehold estate at Toddington and elsewhere to her son William Thomas Goodman - death of Elizabeth Ellen Goodman 8 April 1871 at Hockliffe, will proved 8 May 1871 at Northampton - will of William Thomas Goodman of Toddington, gent, 17 May 1968 devising all real estate of which he was beneficially seised at his death on trust to wife Ann Goodman and friends Henry Parsons of St Albans, common brewer, and William Dover, farmer of Toddington to sell by auction or privately, with the power to postpone - Henry Parsons died 2 Sept 1875 so testator made codicil appointing John Sanders in his place - William Thomas Goodman died 22 April 1876, will proved 16 June 1876 at Northampton - trustees agreed to sell to Major Edward Horley for 80 in fee simple 3 cottages near the pond in Toddington abutting NE and SE on public road, SW on property of Henry Potts and NW on property of George Potts. The cottages were formerly occ by Randall, Martin and Buckingham and erected on the site of the 2 cottages devised in will of Sarah Garlick Wits: William Horley, Registrar of Births & Deaths, Toddington (for Ann Goodman), and John Richard Simons, farmer, of Quarrendon, Bucks (for John Sanders).
