Charter of John de Thame, Prior of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in England and the Brothers of that House to Edmund de Bolestrode that he may give and assign a messuage, 30 acres of land and two acres of meadow in Presteleye, Co: Bedf: which are of the fee of the said Hospital to a certain chaplain to celebrate daily service in the said Edmund's chapel of Fletwyk near the church there for cer- tain souls, in accordance with the said Edmund's order saving to the Priory, etc. the rents and services due there- from: and the said Edmund grants to the said Priors and Brothers a yearly rent of 2sh. 8d. from the above lands to be paid to their Preceptor or Warden of Herdewyk Co.
