My Dear Brother
I send thee a copy of letter from E.Eddison and I enclose letter to E.E. on the supposition that thou mayst incline to accept it and if so thou canst post it tomorrow night.
I think it would be difficult to raise a second mortgage although with the guarantee of Bro.F. & myself I believe 1400 would be advanced readily if E.E. had such a sum ready & referring to what has already passed I must leave it to thy judgment as to what course to pursue -
& thou mayst rely upon my best aid to follow it out when thou hast decided. I am glad of the result as to Swaffield. We shall have some delay as to the girders as a letter I wrote to Walter to order them when he was at the works at Dudley has somehow been entirely lost.
With dear love Thy affectionate Brother C.May
