Title
Priscilla Strange to Edward Harris Strange 6 Dec 1848
Peckham 12th mo 6
My dearest E.
I went to the Training School & on introducing myself to the Superintendent he at once said "Miss Quick has had a long training here & she stands with us a very superior teacher than to Miss France" - she will be at liberty at Xmas - So you will know what you may have to trust to.-
Father is here & is nicely - C. & N. at Chas St.-
The enclosed was sent to William Bryant, read it, circulate where needful & return it to Francis quickly, the party is to call on him. - They have notice to Quit Tooley St. for the Railway.-
All well here - a large party is expected tomorrow.-
I hope S. & G. mind the directions - give my love to them & a kiss for the little ones a large share thyself -
from Thy ever affectionate P.S.
I have been reading the correspondence to F. & J.-
I write this, this evening supposing I shall have no opportunity tomorrow.-
