Priscilla May to Ann May 9 Oct 1833 Frenchay 10th Mo 9th My dear Mother As Henry is just going to Town I could not let him leave us without saying that I received thy letter about two hours ago - it was directed to Newington Causeway instead of Newington Place & I think it was my fault - - We have been to Moorend. Helen & baby quite well - Maria Curtis stays two weeks longer.- Mariana called on us yesterday & being a fine morning wished us to go & walk in their garden which we did she is very free & we are quite at home with her already. P. & Anna are gone to Bristol to-day & we must call there to-morrow - Anna came to see us before meeting she is quite well - - - I think Aunt would like to have more particulars relative to C. Powell we do not of course mention it to anybody else.- - I hope this will reach thee by Uncle A. tomorrow - & having written so lately I will say farewell - - we enjoy it so far - - - With love to all I remain Thine Affectionately Priscilla P.S. I intend writing in about a fortnight shall expect a letter in the parcel from Cornhill - Samuel May Ampthill Ann May Bedfordshire
