Scope and Content
Coalbrookdale. 4th of 4th month [M.D.D to P.M.]
My dear Priscilla
I feel quite sorry that I was not able to send the card before thou quitted Newington, but hope that my Sister Rebecca will have an opportunity of sending it to thee shortly -
A long list of apologies for the poor printing and the foolish mistake; in not commencing the lines even, might be expected, but this I shall dispense with, believing that thou wilt excuse it.
I shall be pleased to hear either, of, or from thee, and may assure thee, that to be informed of thy happiness, will always be gratifying to thy sincere friend M.D.Dickinson.
