(heretofore lands of Sir Thomas Alston heretofore occupied by James Langley) with pightle of pasture AND close of pasture in Odell (1 acre) abutting N Duck Lane, S the River Ouse except lands formerly of Thomas Alston occupied by James Langley, Esq (on both sides) and common of pasture for 3 cows and 10 sheep (above messuage 'last mentioned' pightle and close of pasture theretofore estate of John Masters deceased but since by sufficient conveyances rested in John Marshall and his heirs) to Norman and Tole to use of John Marshall till marriage and after the marriage: a) messuage occupied by--- 10 acres 1 rood of arable land (from ancestors of John Marshall) to use of John Marshall for life, reversion to Thomas Marshall for life of him and his wife and the life of survivor, reversion to heirs of the body of Thomas and Mary, to Thomas Marshall in fee. b) estate formerly of John Masters to Thomas Marshall and use for their lives and life of survivor in lieu of dower, remainders as above.
