Title
Assignment from John Robinson [1] of Ampthill, saddler and distiller, John Richardson [2] of Lower Shelton, butcher, acting as mortgagor, to Joseph Barnard Dimock of Wootton, farmer, of a mortgage to secure 80 (52 10s. of which is paid to the outgoing mortgagee - see below - being the outstanding principal on the recited mortgage of 1787) secured on the land described below.
Recites Mortgage by Demise for 500 years, dated 12 Jan 1787, from JR [2] and his wife Hannah to JR [1] of the following land to secure 50 and interest.
(a) a messuage, cottage or tenement in Lower Shelton, wherein John Roe formerly dwelt and John Richardson the elder, deceased, formerly dwelt and then in the occupation of his son JR[2], lying between a cottage or tenement formerly of Rebecca Hubbins, widow, deceased, and since that of JR[1] on the NE, the ground of Doctor Dell on the NW, and the common highway on the SE and SW
(b) a pightle or inclosed piece of pasture ground whereon or on part whereof a messuage formerly stood, containing 1a., late in the occupation of Ellen Millard and then of the said JR[2].
(c) piece or parcel of arable land and meadow ground containing 1a. in Little Field in a furlong called Brockland Furlong, late in the occupation of John Botsford and then of JR[2], and formerly the estate of John Hobbs the elder.
