    Presented 1935 by Modern School Museum, where it was deposited by E. Thurlow Leeds, Keeper of the Ashmolean Museum; with a similar map, dated 1835, by Wm. Swift, retained by the Museum. The Swifts were relations of Mr. Leeds' mother, and the maps were drawn while they were at a "private academy" in Eaton Socon. See e.g. WG 2376. See letter F.W. Kuhlicke 27 Sept.1935.
