Memorandum of Agreement for sale from Martha Ingrey of The Green, Stotfold, represented by her agent William Munday of Baldock [Hertfordshire], to Amos Josiah Gentle of Stotfold, for 335, of: (a) a dwelling house, shop and premises facing The Green, Stotfold, having a frontage to the Road of about 33' now occupied by MI, bounded on N by property of Mr Cardwell Shepherd, on S by The Cricketers public house owned by the Baldock Brewery Company, on W by a fence to be erected not less than 10' from the extreme limits of CS's land and continued in a straight line from Regent Street to the opposite boundary next the Brewery Company on which side it is agreed to erect free of expense to AJG a close fence at least 5' high Abstracted title to commence with an undated mortgage in favour of Sarah Ann Richardson, MI to retain possession of the premises and be entitled to rents and profits up to 1 July 1903 (the day for completion) Mr John Shilcock of Hitchin named as arbitrator in case of disagreement.
