    Hand-written transcription of a Conveyance in Latin dated 6 July 1545 from John Maynard, gent, to John Spencer, his heirs and assigns, for 8 paid to Henry Audeley, of: (a) one toft, one close, one parcel of underwood and ten acres of land with appurtenances in Moggerhanger "in the parish of Blunham" late in the tenure of John Colbeck and lately the prior of Caldewell in Bedfordshire which land JM/HA had jointly by the gift and grant of Henry VIII by Letters Patent dated 3 March 1545 Habendum: to JS in fee in socage tenure of the Honour or Manor of Ampthill for a rent of 9 pennies, one halfpenny and one farthing payable to the Court of Augmentations on 29th September annually John Maynard appoints John Osseburn as his attorney to take seisin Endorsed with memorandum of livery of seisin witnessed by Thomas Grey, William Fysher senior, William Blythe (or Elyche), William Ward and others on 11 August 1545
