    Conveyance by indentures of Lease and Release from James Pye of Kensworth, cordwainer, devisee in fee in /5, to Joseph Woodcraft of Kensworth, yeoman, for 210, of:(a) the cottage or tenement with appurtenances [as in /4(a)] wherein Robert Marks formerly dwelt, then Peter and James Pye, and now occupied by widow Rowland, Joseph Woodcraft and Thomas Hickman having been converted into 3 cottages by James Pye.(b) his other cottage, tenement or dwelling house standing on part of the orchard or garden ground as in (d), which was lately converted and made out of barn and is now in the occupation of James Pye, and the yards garden orchard or backside appertaining....bounded by the ground formerly of William Chew deceased and now of the trustees of Jane Cart's charity on the west; land formerly belonging to Richard Woodhouse, then Timothy Osman, deceased and now of Elizabeth Scott on the east; abutting towards the south on (c).(c) plot of land late of the common as in /6(a) above abutting with (a) to the north [former Common Green] (d) plot of land as in /6 (b) above now laid into and forming a part of the said first mentioned orchard [presumably in (b)] and bounded on the SW by (a)...and being, wiht (c), land allotted as appurtenant to (a). Habendum: to Joseph Woodcraft in fee upon several trusts involving power of appointment and a life estate in trust for JW to John Ward of Kensworth, yeoman. Includes clause barring the doer of Elizabeth, the wife of JP.Signing, sealing and delivery, and livery of seisin witnessed by Thomas Pye of Kensworth and Nathaniel Cartwright of Dunstable.
