    Will of Peter Pye of Kensworth, cordwainer Probate in PCC (extracted copy) Gives, devises and bequeaths as follows: - to his son James Pye in fee, (a) a messuage, cottage or tenement now in the occupation of PP and JP at Kensworth as in /3(a) together with the sum of 130. - to Ann, his daughter and wife of William Holland, in fee, (b) his other messuage, cottage or tenement, now in the several occupations of his son in law William Holland and John Hudson together with the sum of 130. - to his son John, the sum of 190. - to Elizabeth, his daughter and wife of John Ward of Kensworth, the sum of 190. - to Martha, his daughter and wife of John Kilby, the sum of 190. - to William Cheshire, his grandson by his late daughter Mary and her first husband Thomas Cheshire, deceased, the sum of 40. - to Elizabeth, wife of his son James, his clock and all the household goods, furniture, beds , bedding, linen, earthen ware, utensils and implements of household and wood in and about the property devised to JP above. - to his 5 children equally to be divided share and share alike, the residue of his personalty after payment of the above legacies, funeral and testamentary expenses, and the charges of placing down two grave rails in memory of himself and his late wife.
