Bryan's charity: summary of the charitable provisions of the wills of John & Hester Bryan (there are full copies of these in D.D.WE. 1217-18). Note that by feoffment 22 Oct.1800 the surv. trustees, the Hon. & Rev. H. Beauclerk & John Hawkins, conveyed to themselves, Rev.Jas. Wood, rector of Marston, and the then rectors of N.Crawley, Houghton Conquest, Maulden & Clophill, the vicar of Lidlington and the Rev. Geo. Cardale.
