He has purchased a copy of Batchelor's poems at the sale of Robert Bloomfield's effects, and asks whether Batchelor presented it to Bloomfield, and whether Batchelor has published anything besides this and the Agric. Report. 1 June 1824
Draft reply explaining that the gift was probably made by his brother. His writings, in addition to the above are
"a similar report of Dorset, but the Board thought proper to send a Mr. Stevenson...my report was afterwards published almost verbatim under his/name."
"I also published an Orthoepical Analysis of the English Language, but of this I expect a copy would not easily be found, nor perhaps is it worth the trouble."
