On 31 May 1872, out of court, Ann Carr came by Thomas Edwin Webb, her attorney and produced to the Steward the probate of the will of John Carr. Ann Carr was then admitted to the copyhold property of her late husband subject to conditional surrender of 26 October 1868 to secure 2400 and interest
