    Conveyance i) Robert Sexton, Ampthill, gentleman ii) Richard Carr, late of Marston, but now of Greenfield, Flitton, farmer William Olney, Flitwick, farmer iii) John Carr, Toddington, farmer reciting mortgage of 12 January 1857 a) John Carr b) Robert Sexton - freehold lands therein mentioned were assured to use of b) to secure repayment of 1000 and interest at 4 10s % p.a. by deed of further charge of 4 October 1864, endorsed on above, between a) and b) the premises were further charged with repayment of 200 and interest reciting will of John Carr dated 27 April 1867 by which he devised to brother, Robert Carr, son Richard Carr, and son in law, said William Olney - 64 acres land at Toddington including below mentioned freehold and copyhold property on trust for sale Said Robert Carr, Richard Carr and William Olney appointed executors He died on 14 August 1867. Will proved (Northampton) on 30 September 1867 Robert Carr died on 15 December 1867 and was buried at Flitwick ii) have agreed to sell to iii) the freehold and copyhold property for 3171 6s including the value of the timber. 2171 6s shall be the price of the freehold property and 995 residue shall be the price of the copyhold property ii) in consideration of 995 paid by iii) for the copyhold property have this day surrendered into hands of Lord of Manor of Toddington - 20 acres 2 rod 2 perch in Toddington once part of Upper Field and Furzen Close (as shown on plan on deed) to use of iii) but subject as to a portion (2 rod 18 perch) to right of Highway Surveyors to use it as a stone and gravel pit now in consideration of 1200 (part of said purchase money) paid by iii) at request of ii) to i) and in consideration of 976 6s paid by iii) to ii) (total - 2176 6s) i) by direction of ii) release to iii) - closes freehold land (34 acres 11 perch now, by recent admeasurement, 36 acres 1 rod 4 perch) with farmhouse and buildings standing on it in Upper Field in Toddington, formerly in occupation of William Bolton, once of John Carr, deceased, and now of iii) (as shown on plan on deed) subject to a right of way for horses, carts, arriages and foot passengers from road leading from Toddington to Luton to piece of land (5a) late belonging to John Willis and now to William Willis sigs of all endorsed receipts wits John Wright, sol, Ampthill John Newton, sol, Leighton Buzzard 26 October 1868
