By his will dated 27 April 1867 he devised to Robert Carr of New Kentish Town, Middlesex, gentleman, Richard Carr, Marston, farmer, and William Olney, Flitwick, farmer

Robert Carr, one of trustees, died on 15 December 1867
Now Richard Carr and William Olney are admitted tenants to aforesaid premises, subject to conditional surrender affecting part of the premises to which John Carr was admitted out of court on 5 October 1865 on surrender of John Gadsden for securing to Burges Gadsen the sum of 1200 and interest
