Agreement for lease by Henry Brandreth to Thomas Partridge of Houghton
Regis, farmer, at a rent fixed by the Enclosure Commissioners, of
- that part of the farm house and the barns, yards and buildings
called the Tithe Homestead which are now in the tenure of Thos.
Partridge with lands.
Tenant to find a half of the straw necessary for thatching the north
side of the straw barn in the Tithe Barn Yard, and the usual beer
for the workmen. Not to break up any sward except baulks.
Husbandry covenants. Thos. Partridge to have the use of the
Tithe Barn, yard and stables and part of the Tithe Farm House until
midsummer 1800, and if he shall actually reside in the house, he
can have the whole of it.
