Hawkins junr. and Wm. Hawkins son of Thos. senr. by Eliz reciting that Thos. Tompkins decd. late father of John Tompkins was seized at the time of his death in - cottage or tent . with appurts where (i) now lives in H.R. and by his will 20 July 1654 he gave the same then called - tenement that Rich. Keetch lived in to Jn. Tompkins, his younger son, for life, with remainder to Mary Phebe and Eliz., John's three daus., and on his death Thos. left two sons, Thos. and John. Thos. Tompkins the eldest son and heir of testator by name of Thos. Tompkins of Biggleswade, grocer, by deed poll 20 Sept 1671 released his interest to (i). Mary and Phebe are now dead. RELEASE to Conveyance by L and R by (i), in consid. love and affection for w. Mary and the said Eliz. Hawkins and the two grandchildren, to (ii) of cottage as above to the use of Mary, wife of (i) for her widowhood, then to the use of (iii) witn. Fra: Cooley, David Harris
