reciting proposed marriage between (i) and (ii) and that
(i) is siezed in fee simple of
- cap. mess. at Houghton Regis now in occ. with land
- other lands and mess. at H.R. now or late in occ. Fordham
and Anstee
- rectory or parsonage of H.R. with tithes
- mess. or tent. and farm 34 acres in Chalgrave, Wingfield
and Tebworth in Chalgrave, now or late in occ. Jn. Jones
all of which togerther are of the yearly rent of 800, and are
subject to an annuity of 100 p.a. to Mary Brandreth widow of
Thoswihan Brandreth esq., decd., the mother of (i), and to a
mortage of 4000 and other charged amounting in all to 7,000
and reciting that (ii) is entitled to estates in
- Brentor als. South Brent, Lamerton, Low Trenchard,
Thruzehelton, Tavistock, Milton Abbott, Whitchurch, Sourton,
Bratton, Okehampton and other places in Devon
- South Petherwin, St. Cleather, Lancast, Davidstow, Jacobstow,
St. Germy, Poundstock, Alternon, Northall etc. in Cornwall,
and that it was proposed that in prospect of the marriage and
to settle the estate of (i) sufficent of (ii)'s property should
be sold to discharge all incumbrances, except the annuity
Marriage Settlement being
Covenant by (ii) with (iv) to sell her property to the required amount
Covenant by (i) with (iii) to convey the property to uses, and that
after his death Dionisa shall have an annuity of 300 p.a., and
the property be settled on their heirs, in default to heirs of (i)
