Declaration of Eliz. Cobb of Woburn, wife of Wm. Cobb of Woburn, gent., aged 58. she knew Jn. Buttfield formerly of Potsgrove, dairyman, and all his children. There was only one son, Wm. Buttfield, who married Fanny Clayton in April 1802. Their eldest son, John Buttfield, was born at Broughton, Bucks., in March of the following year. William Buttfield died 1812 and was buried in the yard of the Independent Meeting House at Woburn
