    Conveyance : 10 (i) Thos. Palmer of Warden Street Dr. in Phisic. (ii) Hen. Ashley of Eynesbury Hunts. gent. Whereas the sd. H.A. by commissioners for county of Bedf. is appointed undertaker for making the river Ouse running through part of the counties of Bucks. & Beds. and other adjg. counties and so to the sea navigable from beneath Eaton Mills upon the sd. river to the towne of Bedf. according to an Act of Parl. made in 16th. yr. of K. Chas. II - One piece of meadow ground in the mead. or holme called the millers holme on the N.W. side of Card. Mills in length 11 poles from river N. unto the Back Rey next E. corner of a holme late of Sir Geo. Blundell dcd., in brdth. 3 poles & noe more, & lyeth about 12 poles above the sd. mill bridge towards the W. Full power and liberty to make & maintain one sluice for passage of boats and lighters & to do any other reasonable act or thing in or upon the sd. piece of grnd. A line way or haleing path 3 ft. wide through that part of the Millers Holme, in length fom W. side of sd. piece of grnd. 46 poles tow. W. corner of Millers holme & adjg. riv. Ouse, for the haleing or toweing of boates & lighters w. horses & men. For trees cut down & digged up for the works - H.A. to pay price as assesed by Francis Brace of Bedf. Whereas it will be necessary to place the sd. sluice across a certain way leading from mill to W. end of sd. meadow : H.A. to make & maintain 'one sufficient planck bridge over the lower end of the sd sluce fitt for the passing .. of such persons & things as .. are used or ought to passe..' H.A. not to draw a greater quantity of water through the sd. sluice than may be suff. for nec. passage of B. & 1. And a haleing path over rest of mead. not bef. ment. - 30 per ac. Wtns. F.
