In the court of Summary Jurisdiction at West Ham Lane Stratford held 25th February 1901 Alfred Edwards was charged that on 16th Februry 1901 he did steal a purse containing £1:.4 : 6d, the property of John Calderwood. he was imprisoned at Pentonville for 3 months with hard labour.
