Examinations & depositions: Information of Samuel Barwell, Oakley, coachman to the Marquis of Tavistock regarding thefts of money from his fellow servants. Marked money was put into a waistcoat pocket in the rooms over the stables of Oakley. Richard Perkins 'one of the Whippers In to the Marquis' reported the two shillings gone and Manning Green was found to have spent a shilling in the village shop of John and Sarah Laughton.
