Writer has mentioned the Deaf & Dumb asylum to Miss Carew; she seems to have good hopes that her uncle may assist. Grandson Lt. Philip Yorke is due on Saturday; son James expected tomorrow. A letter from Agneta Yorke contained an abuse of Tyttenhanger and everything belonging to it; it is not hard to deduce that she was truly unhappy when resident there. Comments about payment of farm rents. Books required from Hatchards.
