    Reciting mortgage of 25 March 1867. On completion title deeds were handed over to John Thomas Green, attorney for E A Green On 28 October 1874 i) being indebted to Samuel Higgins for £80 declared that title deeds should be retained by J T Green as attorney for ii) to secure repayment of £80 and interest (such sum not to be called in by ii) for term of 3 years). i) agreed to execute a proper legal mortgage for same when called on to do so. £90 is now owing to ii) for principal, interest and costs and ii) has asked i) to execute said legal mortgage Now in consideration of £90 i) as to property firstly described, appoint, and as to property 1stly and 2ndly described, grant - property as in X395/95 to use of ii) subject to mortgage, principal sum and interest and repayment of said £90 and interest at 5% p.a. Power of sale in case of default. Signature of i) Witness Frederick Thomas Tanqueray, solicitor, Woburn 2 June 1875 also including Reconveyance a) Samuel Higgins b) John Odell, Newport Pagnell, Bucks, ironmonger (trustee of the estate of Frederick Hutton) default was made by Frederick Hutton in payment of said £90 and interest Reciting bankruptcy petition of Frederick Hutton and appointment of b) as trustee on 7 October 1875 b) took up the title deeds and paid to a) said £90 and interest Now a) conveys to b) - land, cottages etc now vested in a) to be held to use of b) freed from all principal and interest monies Signature of a) Witness William S Smith, solicitor's clerk, Woburn 24 February 1876 Marked `Covenant to be produced to William Staniford of Woburn, Beds, builder, his heirs and assigns'
