To be buried in Maulden church, 'as near as conveniently may be to my deare wife Jane Rhodes'; if dies more than 2 miles from Flitwick to be buried there. - To son Benjamin & daughter Jane moiety of real estate each. Witnesses: Ann Edelen, James Allen, Francis Lovings, Mary Allen. 19 September 1699. Codicil: Executors to pay £10 to poor in clothes or otherwise, £10 to Maulden poor, £5 to Westoning poor, £5 to widow of Mr Abbis or Abbot, late minister of Graveness, 40s for clothes to late tenant 'old Geary', £3 to son of Thomas Buckingham late of Ewe Green, at age 18. 28 August 1709. Memorandum: 'this my will on the other side of this lease was again published, signed, sealed and delivered ...' Witnesses: Gustavus Sheldon, Mary Cuthbert, Elizabeth Sheldon. Executors: Son Benjamin & daughter Jane.
