Title
Dagnall Methodist Church (Herts) (Originally Wesleyan)
Admin/biog history
First appears in records in 1802. Chapel built in 1848 after previously worshipping in an unknown house. In 1945 the chapel suffered blast damage from a stray V2 rocket. In the 1960s plans were made for rebuilding the chapel at a plot on Studham Lane, but in 1967 the chapel became structurally unsafe and the Methodists moved into All Saints Chapel of Ease which they shared with the Church of England. In 1970 the chapel roof collapsed and it was demolished.
