    Reciting: that under the will of late brother Joseph Musgrave, Esquire deceased, the testator is entitled to an estate called Knypier in Durham, and to the residue of his real and personal estate subject to certain annuities The testator expressly charges this estate with theses annuities, if insufficient he charges the residue of the estate given to the residual legatee. -- Knypier estate to friends James Barnett of Lombard Street, banker, and George Henry Barnett, of Lomabard Street, in trust: to use of George Musgrave esquire third son of Sir John Chardin Musgrave, late of Eden Hall, Cumberland, Baronet, deceased, for life, then intail male, remainder to William Musgrave, second son of of Christopher Musgrave of Beach Hill, Berkshire, Esquire, for life, then in tail male, remainder to Christopher, eldest son ditto, remainder to right heirs of Christopher the father. reciting: that the testator has lately contracted for the purchase of the equity of redemption on mansion house now a farm, called Furzen Hall, near Biggleswade, with 262 acres 2 roods 18 perches now mortgaged to the testator, which the testator sold to Mr. John Brichens, 1814; if the purchase is not completed, the money is to be paid out of the personal estate, amd property to be conveyed to trustees above. -- the farm, all estate at Borden, Kent, and Manor of Shillington, and all other Bedfordshire estates to trustees to uses: in trust for reputed son George Musgrave, heretofore known by the name of Walker, formerly Winchester Row, New Road Middlesex, now Devonshire Street, Portland Place, for life, then to George Musgrave Musgrave, eldest son of George for life, then in tail male, remainder to Henry second son of George intail male, remainder to Thomas, third son ditto, remainder to daughters of George in equal shares, remainder to right heirs of testator. -- to George Musgrave (formerly Walker) all plate; to reputed daughter Elizabeth Walker, sister of George and now called Musgrave the same, to be equally divided. -- to trustees £11,000 to purchase public stocks and securities and pay annual interest to Elizabeth for life for her own use, then the capital to her children in equal shares, remainder to George Musgrave, remainder to children of George. reciting: that the testator 17/18 July 1809, assigned £10,500 due on a mortgage of property of John Bullock, Esquire, Essex, to the trustees, to pay £5000 to Elizabeth Walker, £4000 to her and her children. The mortgage has been discharged, and £10000 was lent on bond to Josias Dupre Porcher Esquire, on mortgage of estate called Winslade, Devon, which was paid in 1817; the money was then lent to William Lawbridge, East Haddon, Northamptonshire, Esquire on mortgage. -- confirms the provision for his daughter Elizabeth and her children, and revokes the gift of £1000 to grand-daughter Georgiana Pleston (late Musgrave) one of the daughters of George and the £1000 is to be part of the residue of testator personal estate. -- to daughter Elizabeth all household goods and leasehold house in which testator resides, Green Street, for life. -- to son George £10,000, and all pictures, paintings, and antiquities collected by late brother Joseph and also two painted missals, and all gems and miniatures, but none to be sold. -- to James Barnett £500, to George Henry £2000 -- to godson William George Barnett, son of George Henry £200 -- legacies to: Miss Rosewell, daughter of late Benjamin Rosewell, gentleman (£100); Miss Louisa Barnett, sister of James (£200), Christopher Musgrave senior, Beach Hill (£500), Sir Harry Hawley, Leybourne Grange, Kent. (£100); £800 to sisters of George Henry Barnett in equal shares; Mrs. Emma Challowe £50; Magdalen Hospital £100; Bridewell Hospital £100; £20 to all servants who have been with the testator a year, and mourning. -- residue of personal estate to trustees to purchase public securities for benefit of George Musgrave, then to all children, except Georgiana who has already been provided for unless she is the only surviving child; if any die, then to their children in equal shares. -- trustees to be executors. Witnesses: James Doherty, Richard Curtis Pomfret, George West Low. 29 August 1822. codicils: reciting receipt of £10,000 mentioned in the will and the purchase of government stocks and securities – to be laid out for the benefit of Elizabeth Musgrave as directed in the original deed of 1809, and confirming the will. Testator has lately purchased several closes and parcels of land in Shillington, in the occupation of Twydell Dear, from Mr. Thomas Caton: - to trustees for benefit of son George October – December 1823.
