    Apprenticeship Indenture: George Odell Levings son of William Stephen Levings of Somers Town, St Pancras in the County of Middlesex, glazier and painter (by and with the consent of his said father testified by his being a party to and sealing and delivering these presents), apprentice to George Odell of Woburn, blacksmith. From the 5th day of November now last past for the term of six years. George Odell for and in consideration of the services of the said George Levings to be done and performed for him the said George Odell and of the sum of five shillings paid to him George Odell by the said William Stephen Levings on or before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt thereof he doth hereby acknowledge His said apprentice in the art of a blacksmith which he useth by the best means that he can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed finding unto the said apprentice sufficient meat drink clothes washing lodging and all other necessaries during the said term.
