Scope and Content
About 50 years of age. Born in Cardington, where his father resided and belonged. When he was bout 20 he let himself to Mr Ibbott of Harrowden, Cardington, farmer for a year as servant in husbandry at the wages of six guineas. He went into service at Michaelmas and continued there to the next Michaelmas receiving the whole of his years wages. In the following summer he was married ar Cardington to Mary Morton by whom he has four children – James aged 20, Thomas 18, Sarah aged 9 and George 5 years. Unsigned.
