    On Sunday 7th June between the hours of eleven and twelve o'clock in the morning he was dressing himself in a meadow of Mr John Somes after bathing in the River Ouze in the water belonging to the said John Somes he the said John Somes threw a coat of the examinant into the river and then seized him by his arms and pushed him backwards into the river - that the said John Somes held him and got into the water with him and put him under and held him under the water til his breath was nearly spent.
