(ii) John Cotchin of Luton, straw hat manufacturer. Reciting: - X899/5/6. Operative: - In consideration of £140 (i) conveys (a) to (ii). Property: (a) Piece or parcel of land situate at Stuart Street, Luton with barn adjoining of 15p; bounded on NE by a garden in the occupation of Miss Haydon, SE by a garden belonging to Thomas Cox and occupied by Mrs. Waller and by other ground lately sold by the said James Waller to Mrs. Parkins & others, SW by Stuart Street & NW by the back or rear of premises then [now has been crossed out] occupied by (ii) - …. 'Reserving unto the said James Waller his heirs and assigns and the purchaser or purchasers for the time being of all or any part or parts of the building ground adjoining unto a right of way of the width of nine feet from Stuart Street aforesaid to the barn built upon the said piece of ground hereby conveyed'. - Signed by (i) & (ii). - Witnessed and signed by William Hunt of Luton, solicitor & Thomas Tomlinson, clerk to the said Mr. Hunt.
